JARED'S GETTING BAPTIZED

We are so excited that Jared is getting baptized on Saturday. He will be getting baptized with his cousin's son, Dallin. They are about 2 1/2 weeks apart in age. We are excited for the choice Jared had made. We want to invite everyone to come. He will be getting baptized at his Grandma Rachel's Stake center in Centerville, Utah on Saturday August 2nd at 1:45 pm. We wish you could all be there but we understand with the distance we all live from each other. WE LOVE YOU ALL!

This and That

I have to ton of pictures of the boys I wanted to post, so I thought I would post a few.

Jared riding his bike. He loves to do it, but with it so hot he can only do it for 15 minutes here or there.

Drew also loves his bike. He went through an Indiana Jones phase and had to have a whip and were a hat, thus the hat under his helmet.

Tanner(our good friends son & Caleb's best buddy), Caleb and Drew. Aren't they so cute?

Caleb climbing on his changing table. He love to climb on everything.

The boys eating chips and dip after church.

Hold on! Drew loves to drive Caleb around on all of Caleb's bikes and toys.

Caleb's version of helping me water the garden. He always gets wet when we water.

This is how the boys help me cook.

Family Home Evening in the Mountains

Last Monday our ward had a family Home evening at a members ranch. It was so fun and they had lots of games for the kids.

Jared and Nicole were partners in the egg toss. You stand facing each other and toss a raw egg back and forth. Each time it is caught you take a step back. They had some amazing eggs. Some kept getting dropped and didn't brake.

Drew and Jessa were partners. They won the kids group. Darrin and I won the adult group. At the end Darrin and I were tossing the egg about 45-50 feet before it broke all over my face.

The cousins sitting on the fence. Caleb's favorite thing there was to climb up and down the fence. He will climb anything.

They had a pie eating contest. It was the slowest pie eating contest I have seen. The ages of the kids in the contest were 7,8,9,10, 10, and 12. The twelve year old won.

Fourth of July Fun

Every fouth of July the boys like to go to the city park for the fun they have there. They have a bunch of booths to buy things from, rides and slides, and they city has a bunch of free games for the kids to play. They boys always have so much fun.

Jared loves the dunking booth. They will let kids take turns being dunked.

Drew wanted to dunk Jared.

Drew was sucessful. Yeah Drew!

Caleb said: "Yeah Drew. Good Job."

Boys loved they slide, but Caleb wasn't to sure of it.

Caleb loved the big slip and Slide(though not as fun looking as the Andersons.)

Jared loved it until the lines got to long.

Drew didn't mind the lines he went again and again.

Caleb's first try of cotton candy. He loves it just like Mom.

The boys playing tag so they could dry off and go on the slides.

Birthday Fun For Everyone

We had lots of fun with Jared and Drew's birthday parties. For Jared's birthday we decorated big cookies, played a couple of games and Darrin made a great treasure hunt. Both of the boys wanted treasure hunts.

Jared and his friends playing a game outside. Notice all the girls. Both boys have more girls their age then boys.(They will love it when they are old enough to date.) They are so good to play with everyone.

Jared and his birthday cake. He wanted a campfire cake. It turned out really good.

Jared opening up presents from his friends. For his birthday he got a telescope and microscope, some chapter books, clothes for school, a baptism book, scouts stuff, and lots of toys from his friends.

Jared opening up more gifts. He got some fun things from his friends.

Caleb loved the cake and ice cream. We were lucky. Caleb went down for his naps both parties just before the kids came. We woke up both times just before cake and ice cream. It was nice to have him asleep for all the games.

Drew with one of his favorite gifts. He really wanted a Link costume(person from a Nintendo game). I made him one and we bought him a sword and shield and go with it. He loved it. He also got some books, clothes for school, and lots of fun toys from his friends.

Drew with his cake. He wanted a Lego cake. He was so easy and cute.

At. Drew's party we made door hangers, played games and a treasure hunt. We had lots of loud 5 year old, but that was nothing compared to the loud 8 year old. I guess the older they are the louder they are.

Drew, cake and his friends
Drew unwrapping gifts from his friends. We had a lot of fun at both parties, but are glad they are done. I don't know about two parties in one week. It makes me tired.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JARED

Happy Birthday to Jared tomorrow(Sunday). We are so thankful to have him in our life. He is such a good boy. When Jared came to us, he came 3 1/2 weeks early. He was 18 1/2 inches and weighed 5 lbs. 15 oz. He was a good baby. He began sleeping through the night at 3 weeks old. Walking at 10 months and running at 11 months. He has such a great personality and is friends with everyone.

Jared loves sports. Things we love about Jared is that he loves to make everyone feel welcome. He is the best big brother. Where Jared is Drew is also ALWAYS. If you know him you are his friend whether you are 8, 69, 0r 1 year old.

He loves being helpful(most of the time). We planted a garden this year and he is so proud of it.

He is such a good student. His teacher all love him.(Kindergarten teacher still tells me how much she loves him). His teachers love that he is kind to everyone in the class(even though he talks a little too much sometimes.)

He loves boating. He is good at knee boarding and is learning wake boarding this year. He loves tubing a lot too. The faster and bumpier, the better.

We love having Jared in are family and are very thankful for the good choices he makes. Next month he will be baptized a member of our church. We are proud he has made that choice. Jared will be getting baptized August 2nd @ 1:45pm at his Grandma Rachel's ward in Centerville Utah. We know that many of you live far away. But for those who can join us we would love it. More info will be coming.
